SCHOLARSHIP PRIVILEGES
a. Full tuition and Miscellaneous fees
b. Meal and Lodging at the NAS Dormitory
c. Loan of learning materials such as books and e-books
d. Monthly stipend
e. Sports uniform and equipment
f. Access to all sports facilities (subject to the approval of BCDA)
g. Health insurance coverage (subject to the conditions of the Health Insurance Provider)
h. Covered expenses for participation in local and international competitions to include airfare,
accommodation, insurance, meals, allowance, registration fees, passport, visa processing fees, and DSWD permits processing fees.
i. Such other inclusions/privileges and benefits as may be specifically documented under the rules and policies of NAS, subject to the availability of funds and government accounting/auditing rules and procedures.

NASCENT SAS INFORMATION FOR SY 2023-2024
The NAS Annual Search for Competent, Exceptional, Notable and Talented Student-Athlete Scholars or NASCENT SAS is the annual search to identify and offer scholarships to academically competent and athletically talented natural born Filipino youth from all sectors of the society including indigenous peoples, persons with disabilities, and other marginalized groups.

| ELIGIBILITY | a. A natural-born Filipino citizen b. Must be currently enrolled as a Grade 6 pupil or a graduate of elementary school at the time of application c. Must not be older than 14 years old at the start of the school year d. Must have a general weighted average of at least 80% e. Show evidence of potential in their particular sport f. Show evidence of being in good health and physical fitness to undergo a rigorous athletic program g. Must be under the specified NAS focus sports: Aquatics (Swimming), Athletics, Badminton, Gymnastics (Rhythmic), Judo, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Weightlifting |

| REQUIREMENTS | a. Copy of Birth Certificate issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) b. Copy of Grade 5 and 6 report cards or evidence of equivalency c. Certificate of Good Moral Character d. Medical Certificate and Dental Certificate showing the applicant is physically and orally fit e. Evidence of participation and/or achievement/s in any sanctioned national sports competition/s of the DepEd School Sports Division (SSD), Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) or National Sports Association (NSA) f. Copy of at least one (1) valid ID with signature of the designated guardian |
