3,992 Examinees passed the 2022 Bar Examination
The Supreme Court has released the results of the November 2022 Bar exam conducted across 14 testing centers in the Philippines, held on November 9, 13, 16, and 20, 2022. These centers were located in different regions of the country, including National Capital Region, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. High participation was recorded with 91.77% of the total 9,183 examinees showing up for the exam.
Out of the total examinees, 43.47% or 3,992 candidates successfully passed the exam. The result is significant as aspiring lawyers faced difficulties during the COVID-19 pandemic with travel and gathering restrictions.
To ensure the examination’s success, the Supreme Court utilized Examplify, a computer-based program that allowed examinees to take the test on their own devices. The exam was conducted in-person, with proctors supervising and closed-circuit television cameras monitoring the examinees.
Following the announcement, successful candidates will have to take their oath and sign the Roll of Attorneys on May 2, 2023, at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC). With this achievement, they can now pursue their legal careers, contributing to the justice system and the country’s progress.
