Macaboboni Elementary School is a public institution accredited by the Department of Education (DepED) that offers Basic Education Curriculum from Kindergarten to Grade 6. The school is located in Barangay Macabboni at the Municipality of Agno, in the province of Pangasinan, Philippines.
Macaboboni Elementary School is the farthest school of the Agno District in the North. It is 18 kilometers away from the town proper crossing the Abagatanen River.
Macaboboni Elementary School was established in 1938 with an improvised classroom made of cogon and bamboo. The late Santos Corpuz was the very first multigrade teacher of this school. Classes were suspended when World War II broke out. In 1945, classes were reopened with Ms. Filomena Esberto and Mr. Guillermo Sagun as the additional teachers. More teachers taught in this school as years passed by.
Today, Macaboboni Elementary School has 6 buildings; all of which are funded by the national government. It consists of 8 classrooms, canteen, principal’s office and H.E. There are also different learning parks constructed for our pupils to utilize during their free time or informal study sessions.
A Principal I heads the school with 8 nationally funded teachers; 2 males and 6 females. Of this, 1 is a Master Teacher 1, 5 are Teacher –III and 2 Teacher I.
Macaboboni Elementary School has an enrolment of 194 pupils for SY2019-2020. 93 males and 101 females.
